Generic USB Stick Instructions


  1. Plug the USB stick into an available USB port on your computer.
  2. The computer should automatically recognize the USB stick and assign it a drive letter.
  3. Open the USB stick by double-clicking on the drive letter assigned to it in "My Computer" or "This PC".
  4. You can now view, copy, or move files to and from the USB stick.
  5. When you are done using the USB stick, it is important to safely remove it by clicking the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the system tray or by going to "My Computer" or "This PC" and right-clicking on the USB stick and selecting "Eject".
  6. Once the USB stick has been safely removed, you can unplug it from your computer.

It's important to always safely remove the USB stick to prevent data loss and corruption. Also, note that different operating system may have different ways of recognizing and using USB drive.
